Product Info
CopperVision's Avaira Vitality® contact lenses are made from silicone hydrogel material, which provides natural wettability without coatings or surface treatments, creating a comfortable and healthy lens-wearing experience. Avaira Vitality Toric lenses have optimised lens geometry to provide a stable fit, while providing visual acuity for anyone with astigmatism.
Avaira Vitality Toric™ offers all the great benefits of its sister Avaira Vitality®, including being a silicone hydrogel contact lens allowing more oxygen to reach the eye than standard hydrogel lenses, meaning your eyes can feel fresh and hydrated all day, even in air-conditioned environments or after long sessions of screen time.
Avaira Vitality Toric is specially designed for those with astigmatism, offering Optimised Toric Lens Geometry™, which ensures a stable fit with minimal lens rotation for consistent visual acuity, providing a stable fitting lens and long-lasting comfort. They also offer Class 1 UV protection that blocks more than 90% UVA and 99% UVB, which means greater protection for your eyes.
The third generation of silicone hydrogel material used in Avaira Vitality Toric is inherently wettable with no surface treatments and uses naturally wettable building blocks to improve compatibility between silicone and hydrophilic domains. This, combined with the higher water content of Avaira Vitality Toric ensures high performance and comfort.
With their convenient monthly or two-weekly replacement schedule and soft, flexible material, Avaira Vitality Toric™ is a silicone hydrogel contact lens that minimises or eliminates lack of oxygen-related signs and symptoms during contact lens wear, making them a great option for contact lens wearers with astigmatism.

Are Two Weekly And Monthly Contact Lenses The Same Thing
Yes and no.
Many lenses are marketed as two-weekly or monthly lenses, and are the same lens, same material, same fitting, same cleaning routine, etc, but where they differ is their replacement schedule. Whether you should replace them two-weekly or monthly will depend on your optometrist's recommendation.
Before recommending the correct wearing schedule for you, your optometrist will have examined your eyes and taken into consideration many criteria, including:
- The health of your eyes - Two-weekly lenses have a shorter replacement schedule, allowing less buildup of protein and other harmful deposits.
- Wear times - If you have found your wear times decreasing or if you are getting less than 30 days of wear from a monthly lens, then your optometrist may prescribe a two-weekly replacement schedule.
- Allergies - If you suffer from hayfever or other allergies, you may benefit from a two-weekly instead of a monthly wearing schedule, as replacing a new lens more often can help prevent the buildup of allergens.
- Cost - If you need a more frequent replacement schedule than monthly but cannot afford the cost of daily lenses, your optometrist may suggest a two-weekly replacement schedule.
